The Power of One was created by the Steps to Success Montbello and Park Hill Strong Community Coalitions, with support from the Youth Violence Prevention Center - Denver(YVPC-D) and Denver Metro Community Impact (DMCI).

The purpose of the YVPC-D is to reduce violence among 10- to 24-year-olds in Denver’s Far Northeast (Montbello and Green Valley Ranch) and Park Hill communities. DMCI is a strategic partner, backbone, and fiscal sponsor for Park Hill Strong, whose mission is to advance equity and generational success by elevating the voices of the systemically oppressed, through the facilitation of organizational collective action, led and constructed by the community.
